First, depending on your age, it is very likely that you may not remember or imagine what movie theaters were like in the past, right? Well, know that things weren’t very good, no: the seats were quite uncomfortable – even more so for long movies, less soft than today’s, and not as ergonomic as they are now.

En cuanto a las salas de cine, contamos con pantallas gigantes, sistemas de audio capaces de completar ambientes completos y, afortunadamente, y finalmente, butacas cada vez más cómodas.
Actualmente, las butacas de los cines más modernos te permiten dejar la butaca en la posición que creas mejor y, si la película es mala, echarte una buena siesta en un sitio de lo más comodísimo, ¿quién no, no?
Lo que quizás no sepas es que no solo la comodidad ha mejorado con estos cambios recientes y positivos, sino que la posición estratégica de cada banco dificulta mucho que, en pleno 2022, aún tengas la cabeza de otros interfiriendo con tu visión cinematográfica. Y lo mejor es que esto aplica a cualquier persona en la sala.
It doesn’t matter what your seat will be, you’ll be able to see the screen well and hear the audio well. But logically, choosing a seat involves your personal preference, of course. The perfect location, however, does exist.
It is located in the row that is two-thirds of the way from the screen to the back of the room – a little behind what would be the center of the room – more or less in the middle of the movie theater. At that point, choose a seat right in the center of the row and that’s it: this is the perfect place.
The reason is simple: this is the exact spot that guarantees the best stereo sound quality, as the speakers are always tested in the direction of the row of chairs that separates the room in half. Standing a little behind that line guarantees even better audio. We just don’t recommend the first row, so you don’t have neck pain!
