The temple is made up of several wooden buildings, including the five-story pagoda, which makes it the oldest wooden building in the world. The temple contains several ancient Buddhist sculptures and manuscripts, as well as a number of Japan’s national treasures.

Borobudur Temple, Indonesia

Borobudur Temple is a 9th-century Buddhist temple located on the island of Java, Indonesia. It is the largest Buddhist temple in the world and an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists. The temple is made up of nine platforms with more than 2,500 panels decorated with Buddhist carvings and images.
