How to Embed Spotify Podcasts on Your Website or Blog

Podcasts have become a popular way to consume audio content online in recent years, with millions of shows available across multiple platforms. Spotify is one of the largest and best-known music and podcast streaming platforms in the world, with a wide range of programs available for listening.

If you own a website or blog and want to share your favorite podcasts or even your own shows, then embedding Spotify episodes on your website can be an effective way to engage your audience. In this article, we’ll explore the process of embedding podcasts from Spotify on your website or blog.

Step 1: Find the podcast on Spotify

Before embedding a podcast on your website, you need to find the desired show on Spotify. Open the app or visit the Spotify website and search for the podcast name in the search bar. When you find the show you want, right-click on the title of the specific episode you want to embed and choose either the “Copy Episode Link” or “Copy Podcast Link” option (depending on the version of Spotify you are using ). Make sure you copy the correct link for the specific episode you want to embed.

Step 2: Access Spotify for Podcasters

Spotify for Podcasters is a platform from Spotify that allows content creators to manage their podcasts and access statistics on the performance of their programs. To embed a Spotify episode on your website, you’ll need to create a Spotify for Podcasters account if you don’t already have one. Go to the Spotify for Podcasters website and follow the instructions to create your account. After creating the account, log in to the Spotify for Podcasters dashboard.

Step 3: Get the embed code

In the Spotify for Podcasters dashboard, you will see an option for “Episodes”. Click that option, then click the “Copy Embed Code” button next to the specific episode you want to embed. The embed code is a piece of HTML code that you can insert into your website or blog to bring up the Spotify player and play the desired episode.

Step 4: Insert the embed code on your website or blog

Now that you have the embed code, open your website or blog in the code editor or content management platform you use. Find the location where you want the Spotify player to appear and paste the embed code there. Save your changes and preview your site to see the Spotify player in action.

Step 5: Customize Spotify player (optional)

Spotify for Podcasters also offers some customization options for the embedded Spotify player on their website. In the Spotify for Podcasters dashboard, you can adjust the player’s appearance and size settings, as well as the option to display episode cover art along with the player. Try these options to get the look you want.
