Review: With Love, Simon

“With Love, Simon” is an excellent film about the fear of being frowned upon. In practice, living in wait for the approval of the other is certainly a great void, but when the other consists of your family and your best friends, the situation takes on a new configuration. Attentive to the skills of the material in hand, Greg Berlanti he knew how to preserve the obvious signs of adolescence, at the same time that he chose to travel in unusual ways in young adult films, revealing the nuances of his protagonist, as adorable as the rest of the work he helped to architect.

Conclusion

The film “Com Amor, Simon”, directed by Greg Berlanti can be considered as cute and quite important in the present times. Based on the book “Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda ”, by Becky Albertalli, tells the story in a well-organized way without reinforcing stereotypes and opening several doors for such productions. Still, the film has a very eclectic soundtrack, works as a romance, as a teen drama and as a comedy. Super recommended!
